Spoilers Ahead

The Acolyte takes place 100 years before The Phantom Menace. In the final scene of the show, there is a cameo of Yoda meditating, presumably about how terrible this show has been. The Acolyte tries to open up the Star Wars Universe with more characters from a variety of backgrounds. It's a shame that a majority of the new characters were either boring, annoying, or both. 

The worst episode, an hour of my life I wish I spent doing anything else, involves a flashback to the main characters as children. These children end up being some of the dumbest and most annoying in all of television. One of their mothers, the only real interesting character in the show, is killed and I believe anyone who watched the whole series would agree the show would have been much better if she lived and these two characters failed to survive. 

Unless you are the type of Star Wars fan that watches all things Star Wars or a Masochist, don't waste your time. You are much better off watching a YouTube playthrough of KOTOR or KOTOR 2, the story line will be better.
